Richard L. “Dick” Peterson

Dick received his BA degree from Pacific Lutheran University. Dick graduated cum laude from the Willamette University College of Law in 1973. He served as Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Kitsap County before entering private practice. Dick specializes in Personal Injury and general Civil Litigation.

Admissions: Supreme Court of the United States, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court of Western Washington, and the State of Washington Supreme Court. 

Professional Memberships and Recognitions: Member of Washington State Bar Association.  Member and past  President of Kitsap County Bar Association. Past chair of KCBA Practice and Procedure Committee.  Eagle Member of Washington State Trial Lawyers Association.  Member of American Trial Lawyers Association.

Community Service and Personal Interests: Member and past Board member of the Port Orchard Rotary Club. Member and past Council member of Elim Lutheran Church. Service on South Kitsap School District levy and facilities committees. Member of Kitsap Golf and Country Club and enjoys playing golf.

Dick has been married for 36 years and has three children.  He also spends his time gardening, skiing, sailing, and reading.
